On behalf of the Biden-Harris Administration, I congratulate Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her reappointment to a second four-year term at the WTO.
The United States appreciates her work over the last nearly four years leading the WTO’s Secretariat. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to the work and future of the organization. We support strong and continued collaboration with the Director-General to find necessary paths forward to achieve substantive and procedural reform of the WTO.
